Showcase Planning Committee

There are two roles available -

• Outreach and Marketing Officer
  • Your role is to help publicize the showcase as widely as possible and to invite people to attend.  
  • In doing so, you will hone your own outreach skills and familiarize yourself further with various marketing strategies that will be invaluable to you in your own signature project development. 
• Planning and Execution Officer 
  • You will help source for high quality student research and projects to feature in the showcase. 
  • You will liaise with the presenters in the lead up to the showcase, helping them with organizational details in preparation for their showcase presentations. 
  • You will assist in reviewing presentations prior to the showcase. 
  • You will assist in the facilitation of the panels to take place during the showcase. 

  
  

  There are several open positions available for each role, so fret not! 

• This will be an additional extracurricular activity on your candidacy profile to demonstrate your leadership and organizational skills outside of the classroom. 
• You will work directly with other students who have undertaken high-quality research and student leadership and innovation projects, offering the unique opportunity to learn, be inspired and even potentially join in should some of these projects be recruiting. 
• The time and energy required for this activity is not extensive and this commitment will wrap up within a few short months. 
• This work can be done entirely online from the comfort of your home and laptop.
